Many people find relaxation tapes and CDs extremely helpful, because once you are relaxed you cannot panic. Practicing these exercises at least twice per day has a surprisingly positive effect, particularly if you practice once in the morning (to help you through the day) and again in the evening (to ensure a good night’s sleep). While they do not work right away, if you keep trying then you are very likely to see positive results. The important thing is to keep at it, even when it seems difficult or even impossible to carry on – persistence is the key to success.
